New Charities selected for 2012-2013

One of the great things about being a Rotary Club President for a year is that you get to nominate your favourite charities and the whole club gets behind you with its support to raise badly needed finances for them.

This year our President for 2012-2013, Sue Deyes, has chosen two really deserving charities, The Forces Children’s Trust and Southern Domestic Abuse Services are the charities that are close to Sue’s heart and our fundraising will be geared to doing our best for them.

So if you see Waterlooville Rotary Club members out collecting, especially at Christmas with Santa and his sleigh, or running events such as Southdowns Challenge Cyclo-Sportive or our annual Golf Day, then please remember that you are also helping us support Sue’s main charities as well as all the other local requests we have for financial assistance that help us make a difference!
