Piggy Racing – that’s fun!

Never mind Gold Cup horse racing at Cheltenham or the Derby at Epsom, when it comes to having a flutter and raising money for good causes, Piggy Racing is the fun way to do it!

Using a table and several very pink self propelled toy pigs, the club had a great night owning pigs, sponsoring races and placing bets on which one would win over a six foot course!

Some punters and owners were lucky and won a bottle of wine and a return on their betting.  Others, like myself, just lost, as you do on these things.

However, the racing, the meal at the Portsmouth Golf Club and the great time had by all was just perfect. And we raised some money too!
