Young Chef Success

Congratulations to Harry Gatehouse, a student at The South Downs College, who has won our District Young Chef Competition and goes through to the Regional event at Poole on the 23rd March.

Harry is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Waterlooville in this national event for budding young chefs aged 13 to 17 years. This event, along with many others that Rotary organises is aimed at encouraging young people to showcase their talents. The Young Chef Competition is an annual competition organised in conjunction with Filippo Berio and the winner of the national final has the chance to go to Italy and expereince the world of cookery there.

Well done, Harry.  Best wishes for the event in Poole.
