Waterlooville Duck Race raises money for Rosemary Foundation

What do six hundred plastic ducks and the Rosemary Foundation have in common? Well not a lot unless it means that they raise money for this brilliant support group and other Rotary Charities.

Released in the river near to the Half Moon pub in Sheet near Petersfield, the ducks were encouraged down stream to the finish and in so doing raised a total of £1122 which was split equally between the Rosemary Foundation and the club’s own charities.
Catching up with the Rosemary Foundation team to give them the cheque were Rotarians Brian Claire, Martin Jervis and Richard Hart.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought a duck and congratulations to the winners!
We even gave the last duck a prize! Now that’s generous. That’s Rotary! It’s what we do!
