Waterlooville Rotary gives £3600 to Prostate Cancer Support

For men, prostate cancer is an ever present killer disease and both research and support organisations have a daily challenge to combat this disease.

Waterlooville Rotary Club’s successful annual charity golf day held in May 2019 (this year it is 21st May 2020) had President Richard Britton’s chosen charity as the main beneficiary. Prostate Cancer Support provides ongoing assistance to suffers and also organises specialist equipment to assist local hospitals as they tackle this cancer.

As a result of the great efforts and support from local golfers in May last year, our club has been able to donate £3600 to this worthy cause. So a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the event.

This is Rotary in action. This is what we do!
